1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Plateful (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Plateful is an AI-powered cooking and meal-planning application that provides recipe recommendations, cooking guidance, and related features based on user input and preferences. The App is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional dietary, medical, or nutritional advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts and Security

You may create an account using email, Google, or Apple authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the App for unlawful purposes; (b) interfere with or disrupt the App; (c) reverse-engineer or attempt to access source code; (d) misuse AI-generated content (including presenting it as professional advice); or (e) infringe the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, designs, software, and logos in the App are owned by Plateful AI, Inc. or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Plateful a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the App.

8. AI-Generated Content and Health Disclaimer

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuited to your circumstances. Always use your own judgment, particularly for food safety, allergens, and dietary needs. The App does not provide medical, nutritional, or professional advice.

9. Fees and Subscriptions

If paid features are offered, applicable pricing and billing terms will be presented at checkout. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable.

10. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate third-party services (e.g., authentication, analytics, payments). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party acts or omissions.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLATEFUL AI, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US (IF ANY) IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Plateful AI, Inc. from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted in the App. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or for any lawful reason. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, but Sections 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 16 will survive.

16. Governing Law; Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Plateful AI, Inc. is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
